Leadership

Dr. David Troutman is originally from here in Troutman NC. He is married to Susan and they have 2 grown children, Jake Troutman and Dana Troutman Sain. Five of the greatest joys in their lives are their 5 grandchildren, Olivia, Gabriel, Meredith Grace, Hadley, and Ramsie!

Pastor David received his Associate Degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute. He is a graduate, Luther Rice Seminary where he received his BA in Religion. He completed his Master of Divinity and Doctorate degree from the North Carolina College of Theology.

He has been the pastor of Fallstown Baptist Church since August 2002. Prior to returning to Troutman NC, he served as pastor at Freedom Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC for 14 years. He has previously served on the Board of the South Yadkin Baptist Association. 

Susan has served along side her husband, David, in ministry for the past 33 years. She grew up in Statesville and graduated from Statesville High School. Her greatest joy is her family. She is mother to Jake Troutman and Dana Troutman Sain (Harold). She loves being "Nana" to Olivia, Gabe, Meredith Grace, Hadley and Ramsie!

Susan has served as Administrative Assistant here at Fallstown for 18 years. Her passion lies with the Women's Ministry where she serves as Director.
